This simple API has a set of JSON inputs to create a .ics (iCalendar) file in accordance with RFC 5545 specifications on https://icalendar.org.
By constantly researching and looking at examples, new information, and other developer’s findings, we truly are looking for the most backwards-compatible way to create files for all calendar systems. If you find a calendar software that’s having trouble reading or interpreting our .ics files, please contact us through the appropriate channels.
Further down the line, we do plan on publishing a proper API specification as well as better documentation, but we’re still in the early stages.
